We are accredited assessors covering Hotels, Guest Houses and Bed and Breakfast properties in and around the Birmingham area.
All commercial hotel or guest house properties in Birmingham that are sold or let must have an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) commissioned prior to, or within 7 days of being put on the market . There is a further 21 days allowed for the completion and acquisition of the EPC after which time fines can be imposed.
The Hotel EPC we provide is an official Government Certificate and will be valid for a period of 10 years from the date of issue. An EPC is now required by law for a hotel or guest house to be marketed for sale or rental.
In order for us to produce the Commercial EPC certificate and recommendations report for your hotel or guest house we would require access to all areas of the hotel and would need to carry out a site survey of the hotel that on average takes between 1 and 4 hours.
A copy of the certificate and report when completed will be issued to yourselves and a copy will also be issued to your solicitor and agent as and when you require this. In addition we will also provide you with a unique reference number that will enable you to access a copy of the hotel epc and recommendations report online from an official government website for the life of the EPC.
